Driver License & Passport Scanner

This scanner device can be used to automatically scan all US, Canada, Mexico & around 45 international driver licenses & state ID cards. This device has become very popular hardware among hotel operators as it saves significant amount of time during check-in process as well as accuracy in data collection, no typing errors. A complete photocopy image of Driver License / ID is stored securely for later use with special privilege rights for view/print of full driver license image. This is particularly useful to fight credit card charge backs investigations as well as law enforcement inquiries. More importantly the use of this device very time saving as it automatically fills all registration information in the check-in form. This device extracts all 50 state & international driver licenses and it automatically fills registration form with Frist Name, Last Name, City, State, Zip code, country, Driver License / State ID no, ID Expiration date etc., all in less than 2 to 3 seconds, a considerable time savings! Of our client base, currently over 1800 customers are using this device to simplify their day-to-day operations. We also support passport scanner for use with all computer generated international passport & driver license. Depending on guest trends, our software can be used with Driver license/ID only or Driver license/ID with Passport device.

Signature Pad Interface

ASI offers signature pads and email facilities with its products that allows for a completely paperless office. Instead of signature from guests on physical registration paper forms, the system can capture digital signatures on signature pad devices and bind them to guest registration forms and folios. This is similar to super market check out counters. Customers can receive their copies of documents they sign in an email. At any time after the capture of signature, the forms can be printed with actual image of digital signatures for other usages if required. When paired with scanner solutions, the digital signatures become formidable tool to fight credit card chargebacks from guests. This paperless approach is also very helpful in city/state/county audit process as management of physical papers is not required any more. If physical evidence is required, the documents can be printed at any time. Many of our clients have successfully passed audits with this green paperless operation.

Credit Card Interface

ASI offers integrated credit card processing with all modules, the hotel software as well as the POS software products. Guest credit cards can be swiped on our three track swipe card readers for online processing. Manual data entry through the keyboard is not required, except for cases when card is not present. Our payment gateway supports all major processors including First Data Nashville, TSYS/Vital, Chase Paymentech, RBS, Elavon/Nova, Heartland HPS, Global Payments, First Data Cardnet and 53 Bank. Clients are not required to change their merchant account companies. All credit card data are stored in PCI PA-DSS compliant format. All users of the system can have access to only last four digits of credit card. Special users with administration privileges can access full credit card data if required.
